Q1: What is stretch wrap and what is it used for?
A thin, stretchable plastic sheet — typically polyethylene — used to seal and secure goods onto a pallet. The film is wrapped around the pallet under tension, applying a continuous holding force that keeps the load in place during transit.
Q2: How is pre-stretched film produced?
Pre-stretched film is produced by stretching the film before application. Two breakers pre-stretch the film between them: the second roller rotates faster than the first, extending the film and locking in the molecular alignment.
Q3: Do you focus on colored and opaque films?
Yes — we focus on a wide range of opaque and colored films. They are often the ideal answer for product identification, inventory supervision, and theft prevention.
Q4: What is the benefit of opaque stretch films?
Opaque films do not let light through. They create a natural U.V. shield for covered goods and protect deliveries in transport by not allowing would-be thieves to see the contents of your palletized loads.
Q5: What is the difference between stretch film and shrink film?
Stretch film stretches and sticks to itself under tension. Shrink film needs heat applied to it to shrink around the objects being covered.
